Fuck, There is a song in that movie that I have in my old music collection. I know i've heard it a million times because I recognized it the second I heard it. Now, it seems the song has disappeared from my collection and I am so mad. I thought it was by paul whiteman but I am apparently wrong. AAAHHHHHHHH.... I MUST FIND IT!!!!

Better Now

Hello! Here is another watercolor. It was inspired by a story Jacob Shiach is in the process of writing.
A quick summary; A pompous, annoying tropical bird gets lost and drifts to the Antarctic and a friendly penguin finds her.
This is when she arrives at the Antarctic, unconscious on a log.

Also, How am I doing? I am sure fellow reader you are wondering. Well I have been pretty good. I got over something that had been bugging me these past few days. I had no idea what was wrong with me, today my whole body aches, but my mind is feeling better. I love painting.
Ok, well happy Labor Day weekend everyone.

I've been absent. Pshh I never followed through with the art a day, but after-all at least I finished this painting. It didn't come out like I wanted to, but practice makes perfect. Well, here it is. Later!

Well, as promised here is some progress of what I'm working on. It's self explanatory.

I started late for today, I do have progress, but no worthy enough to post. I have to work tomorrow from 1-6pm so hopefully i'll catch up as soon as I get back. I had to do stuff around the house. but hopefully this one turns out good!

Oh boy.

Well, here is my submission for the day.
It is titled "Hierarchy"

It was created with watercolor and ink. This piece presented a few challenges, due to my lack of art supplies. I need to buy watercolor paper and maybe a better watercolor palette. The paper started to disintegrate because it couldn't withstand all the water I saturated it with, but it survived. I think I will vector it soon. I was thinking about how awesome lions are, and what if they were super tame and cute. A con to that idea is that their awesomeness would be no more, because then they could be bossed around and they wouldn't symbolize what they do; power, strength, etc. That's why I put that little boy in there and he's also carrying a baby alligator. Everyday

Inspired by Cody's song a day endeavor, I have decided to embark on an artistic journey. I will create one piece of "Art" everyday, and it will be loaded on my flickr, here and deviant. No matter how crappy it is. I will explain what inspired me and what media it was created with. Of course, I doubt they will be super elaborate since I only have a few hours to make each one, or maybe if I do decide to work on one for more than a day, I will post my progress.

This one is titled: Crappy Pandas.
Why? Cause they are kind of crappy, but its ok, they are colorful happy pandas so that downplays their crappiness.

What inspired me was, I was playing around with my watercolors and started with the abstract background. I added the pandas because they are cute and they would complement the abstract background with their representational nature.

Yup, I'm 21 that's about the only exiting thing that's happened these past few weeks.

There is a rumbly in my tummy.

Change: Modify,Transfigure, Reorder, Adjust, Transform.

It's a bit difficult to fathom how we are so accustomed to everything in our life even though change is present everyday and things can change drastically in a matter of seconds. I expect tomorrow to be just a normal day. That is far from the case. Try to notice everything, you'll notice things that may seem insignificant are a step towards something grand or detrimental. Tommorow will be vastly different from today, as Heraclitus said "The only constant is change."
My father is suffering from Bell's Palsy, talk about sudden change. He's really bummed out about it. He told me in a despondent tone "It's not easy to wake up and see that half of your face is crooked and paralyzed." What irks him more is that it's another facial imperfection he has to deal with on top of his existing port wine birthmark that covers the left side of his face. I'm trying to cheer him up (probably failing at it) by helping him with chores around the house and such. I hate seeing him so sad. On a good note his prognosis is positive, 70% of people affected with bell's recover fully. Hopefully he will regain movement in his face soon.

My first day at work was on monday and so far it seems alright, I need to learn how to deal with customers more. I feel it a bit shaky in that area. I will get used to it, and hopefully i'll be an exemplary and efficient associate! not... I don't want to be allllll about Banana Republic like my manager Kim seems to be. I will try not to become a prisoner of how many Banana cards I sold in a day and how many people I convinced to buy hideous burgundy pants that "look good" on them, j/k I'm not that mean.
I do like my employee discount, they hooked me there!
